I haven’t used Amazon directly for this but I have sold unneeded textbooks through a number of different book buyback companies, and they provided me with many early snowflakes.

I love selling books on Amazon. It is so easy and painless that eBay has lost all of that business. Amazon takes a large cut on books, but it is worth it because you get the most exposure .
I put about 7 books on two weeks ago, 4 have sold and I already got a payment of $160. Some were textbooks.
