A Compendium of Snowflaking Blogs
Carnival of Snowflaking #9 is up at Paying Off My Future, and has one really fantastic entry. Sadly, that was the only on-topic entry received this week. Be sure to visit and read the snowflaking news for this week, it is a big one!
Becuase the entry level has been down as of late, with summer arriving here in the states and people being on vacation, busy, etc, for at least the summer I am going to trim the carnival down to a monthly posting. The next edition, number 10, will be on July 17th and hosted by Moolanomy. I’ll post some reminders closer to the date as well, so make sure to get those entries in!
Lynnae at Being Frugal put together a list a while back of 20 excellent ways to find snowflakes. When reviewing her list recently, one of them really caught my eye as something I hadn’t thought about before. If you go out to eat and have kids, go on a Kids Eat Free night, and then snowflake the cost of the meals you would have bought to your debt, savings, or other snowflake goal.
Thanks Lynnae for the innovative tip!
There was a slight mixup with Carnival of Snowflaking #7 and it was posted a few days before I thought it was going to be, so between that and my wisdom teeth extraction I missed posting that it was up. So belatedly, please go check out Carnival of Snowflaking #7 at How I Save Money! Thanks for hosting!
Carnival of Snowflaking #8 went up today at Finance Gets Personal, and her editor’s pick in the “Famous Flakes” edition was Debt Smack’s Lazy Girl’s Guide to Snowflaking. Check it out as well as the rest of the entries. Thanks for hosting!
Next week the Carnival travels to Paying Off My Future so get your entries in! If you’d like to host an upcoming edition, please contact me at join at snowflakerevolution dot com. We need hosts for many of our future editions! ![]()
